Andy, founder and President of Varsity Zone HVAC of Scottsdale, brings more than 20 years of professional experience to the table—including a successful career in the medical device industry before starting his own HVAC company. In that field, he learned the value of precision, prompt service, and uncompromising customer care—principles he now applies every day in heating and cooling.

As a U.S. Army veteran and hands-on business leader, Andy built Varsity Zone with a clear vision: to raise the standard of HVAC service in Arizona. His background taught him how to solve complex problems, lead with accountability, and earn trust through results. Customers know they can count on him for fair pricing, clear communication, and systems that perform in the toughest conditions.

Beyond running the business, Andy is committed to giving back to the community—partnering with local organizations, property managers, and homeowners’ associations to make reliable comfort solutions more accessible.

With more than 20 years in the HVAC industry, Steve Pocius has done it all—starting in the field as a service technician and installer, then moving into leadership where he built teams, processes, and entire service departments from the ground up. Along the way, he has trained technicians, streamlined operations, and raised the bar for workmanship and customer care.

Before his HVAC career, Steve proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. The discipline, accountability, and leadership he gained there shaped the way he leads today—whether it is mentoring a new technician, building a department, or driving company growth.

Steve’s passion now lies in passing that knowledge forward. He is committed to developing the next generation of HVAC professionals, instilling both technical skills and pride in the craft.

Outside of work, Steve’s greatest joy comes from his wife and daughter, who remain his daily motivation and the reason he strives to build something lasting—for his family, his team, and the customers he serves.
